It’s Obama’s Plan that Guts Medicare


If Republicans ignored public opinion to gut Medicare to the tune of $741 billion over 10 years (and about $5 trillion over 20 years) there would be no other issue in any federal election until that law got repealed. Democrats would be relentless and seniors would be up-in-arms. And understandably so, especially because about 10,000 baby boomers are now retiring every day.

Yet that was precisely what Obama’s health care law did to Medicare, and the liberal media is dutifully downplaying the significance of these devastating cuts.

Another EPA bureaucrat exposed!


It’s an outrage. One EPA administrator already resigned for admitting he likes to crucify oil and gas companies. Now another EPA administrator has admitted what we already knew — that the Obama administration intends to destroy the coal industry. That’s bad news for anyone who turns on a light switch, because it means steeply higher electricity prices.

Tell Republicans to end Ex-Im's corrupt corporate welfare!

On Wednesday, the House will vote on reauthorization of a corporate welfare slush fund known as the Export-Import Bank. The bill, H.R. 2072, would expand Ex-Im’s borrowing authority from $100 billion to $140 billion, potentially putting taxpayers on the hook for the full amount.

The REINS Act and Lloyd Rogers: A Tea Party Success Story

The House is poised to pass a fundamental reform that would transform the country’s regulatory system and restore the basic constitutional principle that Congress is responsible for writing the laws in this country. The reform bill is called the Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act, and it started two years ago as an idea in the head of a remarkable 78-year-old tea party activist in Alexandria, Kentucky named Lloyd Rogers.
